One ton of feathers

To truly comprehend oneself and one’s professional identity is to attain a profound sense of clarity. It is an experience akin to traversing into an alternate realm, a realm that defies conventional understanding — perhaps even delving into the realm of metaphysics. Paradoxically, this clarity is itself a paradox, a perplexing enigma, for it eludes any notion of absolutes.

A close companion once imparted these words: “Never, under any circumstances, should you download another person’s software. You alone hold the power to script your own destiny.”

“I wanna thank you mom, I wanna thank you dad
For bringing this fucking world to a bitter end
I never really hated the one true God
But the God of the people I hated”

— Marilyn Manson’s, Disposable Teens

In the pursuit of self-awareness, it is advisable to refrain from commencing one’s day by perusing horoscopes and fortunes. The mind, a wondrous yet fragile entity, should not be tainted by the thoughts and proclamations of others. By doing so, one inadvertently surrenders credit for both the triumphs and tribulations of their existence. There is no external force coming to guide or shape your path; it is solely you who holds the reins. I express these words not to question religious convictions or the belief in a higher power. I hold no objection to such matters, as I too possess my own belief. When referring to external forces, I imply the influence of fellow humans. In times of darkness, you are left alone without anyone by your side.

Zen — The conflict between childhood teachings and personal experiences often ensnares us. The synergy between life and work thrives when they complement each other harmoniously. The pursuit of knowledge and the enjoyment of the journey are overshadowed by our haste to reach the destination. I strive to steer clear of rigid beliefs and ceremonial practices, although a ritualistic mindset can prove advantageous… in certain circumstances. Genuine zen is instinctive, and this instinct arises from introspection and active involvement in personal development.

Through this exploration, I have uncovered my six fundamental principles of existence: Discipline, patience, kindness, acceptance, forgiveness, and letting go. These principles pave the way for mindfulness and gratitude. As a human being, endurance is my predominant trait.

“It is the essence of existence, the essence of life itself. Survival and endurance are the fundamental principles that govern every cell in our bodies. Each cell possesses an innate knowledge, a singular purpose — to survive. If only we, as a species, could harness and replicate that instinct within our psyche. The implications would be profound. If I were to leave behind one legacy on this planet, it would undoubtedly be the ability to instill this survival instinct within every individual.” my friend also shared during our conversation

While it may seem preferable not to have challenges, I am of the opinion that contrast and challenges are necessary components of this experience. Without them, a world where everyone effortlessly attains their goals would lack the appreciation and awareness needed for a fulfilling existence. Limitations are the breeding ground for creativity, as they demand critical thinking.

The path to growth and greatness is paved with pain and failure. These hardships serve as gateways, allowing us to leave behind old experiences and embrace new ones. Throughout history, every remarkable individual has been propelled forward by fear, as our greatness is born from the very opposite of the pain we have endured. Everything else in life is mere variables, whether it be financial obligations or material possessions. The true essence lies in the ability to exist and persevere, ultimately leading us to truly live.
